I bought the 8 inch skillet as I wanted something a bit more upmarket than the Lodge ones but without the silly prices of some of the American 'boutique' brands. This fits the bill perfectly, it's well made and without the excessive tooling marks of the cheaper skillets. The seasoning seemed fairly good out of the box too. The handle is a step up from the stubby ones and is very useful on a smaller pan, if cooking eggs it doesn't ever get too hot to pick up with bare hands. Very happy with the product.

They retain the heat really well and I love the patina, makes a difference from the usual black cast iron cookware available.
These will last me a lifetime and have been an excellent investment. Highly recommend
Ordered the skillet set and they arrived within 48 hours of ordering. As soon as you open the box you can feel the quality. First order of the day was full english breakfast which has never tasted better. I've used them in my pizza oven at over 400c to cook prawns and fajitas with no problem at all. The added bonus is that they're British made from recycled metal.

These items are really wonderful. They Cook well non-stick if you control the heat and cook properly like you should.
This iron seems to soak up seasoning quite well.
Liquid pours off the lip very smoothly and accurate unlike other skillet brands i have tried too .
I have the 8 and the 10" and have quickly become a favorite in my kitchen.

This isn't my first time using cast iron, but Emba's products are something else. Made in the UK, they come pre-seasoned so usable straight away and are of great quality. Moreover, I love that they can be used on any heat surface, so we've been using them in doors for pancakes and other, and planning to use them on the BBQ as well. The reversible griddle is my fave. Smash burgers next =) Highly recommended.
